In April of 2007 I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Luekemia. I spent 7 months in treatment under the care of Dr. Selina Luger - Director of the Leukemia Program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I believe that helping other cancer patients is one of the true gifts of survival. My Leukemia relapsed in the Spring of 2009 and I received a bone marrow transplant in July 2009.
